Description of the experience

Manami-San will introduce the world of Origami. This ancestral art and craft culture is more alive than ever. The activity of folding square papers is unique among children, specially during  Kids Day in Japan.  You will follow the instructions from home and make typical Japanese figures, from Samurai Helmets to a  Lotus flower.  During the conversation with Manami-san, you will learn more about the Origami, its origins, benefits and how to make it more fun.

Meet your host: Manami Watanabe

My name is Manami-san, I am a professional origami instructor from Tokyo, Japan. I started learning origami from my  mother when I was 3 years old. I love Japanese traditional culture. Origami and Japanese culture are my passion and I love to teach the skills and the values of each piece I make.  I am always looking for new techniques and stories behind origami art.

How it works

The online experience will take place online using the app ZOOM. You'll need to have a good Internet connection to be able to join with quality. You will need to get ZOOM installed in the device you are using to join the online experience.

Once you have completed the purchase process you will receive an email with the link to access the online experience of your choice. Only one device will be allowed to join the experience per each purchased ticket.
